watch him play consistently, and you'll be doing the same

19-24, 47/14?
on a back to back

i wouldnt say im a clipper fan like maple with his mavs for instance
i used to be a die hard laker fan, but more and more, im sick and tired of laker coverage here and even more sick and tired of laker fans (not all, just the stupid ones, which is like 60%)

i started following the nba in the 2000, 2001 area.
always watched laker games, my family is all laker fans
but i would watch the sucky clips too. always thought it was cool having 2 teams in L.A.

so they've always been like a secondary team to me
but in 06, i wasnt rooting for them in the semi's vs phoenix

i like this team
saw Eric Gordon highlights a few years ago, and fell in love. i hoped the Clips got him in the draft, and they did
always loved Baron, was pretty excited when he came
and Blake Griffin is just, amazing

You are hereby exempt from your Lakers fanhood. Off to the "Clipper Nation" with you.

Idk just seems kind of weird. They're rivals. They play in the same arena. Just seems like you should pick one and root rather than cheer for both. But do you.

Whoa. Odd day in SI history.
Mexi just became labeled a Clippers fan.

And the Clippers fanbase grows to one!

i just like being against the grain i guess

when im with laker fans, i feel like saying all their faults and why they will lose

when im on here, pretty much everyone hates the lakers, and i start defending the lakers
at least thats what i've been doing

They're not really rivals, to us anyway. Here in LA the Clips have always been seen as that little brother. A secondary team to most of us. Cool to pick fun at most of the time no matter how hard they try, but once they start doing good it's cool seeing that. Hope for the best for one of the most historically bad teams in the NBA.

Most Laker fans I know and can tolerate see them the same way.

I root for the Clippers too when the Lakers aren't playing, always have. *shrug*

That's just how it is here.

I can't really tolerate other Lakers fans either, Mexi. The coverage also gets to me.
But when your team is constantly successful it's just the kinda shit you have to deal with.

Doesn't matter anymore though. It's definitely a day in history for SI and the sports world.

Clipper Nation. Population: Mexi.

lakers are just boring to watch
coverage is annoying

i was listening to sports radio this morning, lakers announcer was saying blake was wrong for boxing out with 5 seconds left because the clips were up by 9 and the game was over.

seriously?
