^if they were healthy, they are. bynum at his best alongside odom and pau and kobe not being so banged up. i mean they won 2 straight didnt they with a bum bynum? imagine them with a healthy one

i love DeJuan Bear, I just thought Pau would be too big for him and odom too quick and long
100% wrong obviously

i was wrong about this season. spurs are better than i anticipated. still dont think they're as good as the record, but they're also not fools gold. dallas is better

im not giving up on the lakers, but im not taking them seriously until they prove they want it. which will only happen in the playoffs. nothing they do before that matters imo

they're back to being soft
3 straight years of 100+ games is catching up.

Well obviously no one should be giving up on the Lakers.. You win 2 straight titles obviously you're going to not care as much when it doesn't count in the regular season. The problem is getting up for the playoff games after slacking off all regular season.

Happened every year after 05 Finals.

thats the thing about not caring

you said it the other day. they had the best record in the west 3 years in a row. obviously they cared

they are playing lethargic this season. today was better. kobe just had 1 of his worst shooting games ever. seriously, 13 straight missed FG's? when's the last time he did that if ever?

still, shouldnt have been a blowout. i dont remember the final, but game was over with like 6 minutes left

i said i like the spurs and i underestimated them, but i dont think they're better than the lakers when it's all said and done. they're lacking something.

it's exactly whats going on
tonight was a legit loss though. they were better in the energy department. kobe was old and slow tonight. george hill is a nice defender, but he batted the ball a million times tonight against kobe. manu too. never seen him get that treatment before. idk how the hell he averages 26

but it cant get worse. just cant. they're pathetic lately
and the mavs and spurs dont have an overwhelming lead. i think when it's all said and done, they'll be fine. they may not go to the finals, but it'll be because dallas kicked ass not cause the lakers choked imo

the only thing that worries me about them is how old and slow they are

everyone says san antonio is. no. only duncan is. manu is great for being 33.
all the other guys arent old at all. only mcdyess, but who cares about him? you cant have a team of all young guys and win anyways

and the celtics. kg, pierce and ray are all old too. but they at least have rondo, baby, delonte soon, nate, daniels.
kobe's old, but he's still playing pretty well like the boston old 3. these guys are the ultimate team. they know what the hell they are doing. great defense helps hide their age

lakers have 1 young guy. shannon brown, who cant shoot anymore. and bynum, but he's always been slow so age doesnt matter
fish, artest, pau is gassed, odom is still inconsistent, blake is 30, barnes is pretty athletic too, but he's not really a true difference maker

the main thing that bugs me. athleticism is gone from this team. opposing PG's murder the lakers. bynum is the only shot blocker on the team. pau and odom cant stop them when the pg's are in the pain all game long

Yeah Tmac and the Pistons stun the Celtics. The C's really need to get Rondo back. Losing KG won't help either.
