What exactly was there to retaliate about? The foul on Wade? You can retaliate without trying to hurt someone.

The Heat should be encouraging Granger to get more technicals, considering they're free points.

Udonis Haslem wasnt trying to hurt Hansborough. Wade was bleeding after the foul from Tyler, of course you should be expecting retaliation in some manner.

People are overreacting because its the Heat and everyone loves to root against them. If anything this physical play has made the series better and more interesting. Its not like the Pacers will miss Hansborough or Pittman that much.

I don't think anyone saw how severe the Pittman elbow was at the time. Also, the game was in Miami, there was no way they were going to eject Haslem. Both could be suspended by the league though.

The message was sent and it was effective. Thats all that matters when playing a team as physical as the Pacers. The Heat had to retaliate and that was the manner they went about it. If it was so severe both players wouldve been ejected, but they werent.
Retaliate to what? An unintentional hit from Hansbrough and blatant favoritism in Granger's 4 technicals? LeBron and Wade have both been in situations when they should have been Td up as well as Granger. That or no call. The Heat are retaliating to things that aren't happening.

That was a rough foul by Hansborough although unintentional.

Surprise surprise, favoritism towards superstars in the NBA. We've never seen that before in the NBA, oh the horror.

I just don't get why there's talk of Hansbrough being suspended too. He went for the ball.

The least the league could have done is rescind two of Granger's technicals. He didn't deserve two of the four.

And yes, unintentional. Haslem and Pittman? Intentional. The Heat retaliated as if Indiana was aiming for decapitations. That wasn't the case.

The Heat are little bitches, and Chuck even said that pregame last night. As usual, the Round Mound is spot on.

It's very difficult to do anything but hate the Miami Heat, and it's mostly because of Dwyane Wade, not LeBron. It's Wade who whines and moans at officials all game long. It's Wade who had a hissy fit over a perfectly legal and clean foul by Hibbert in game 4. It's wade who's the diva. I only point this out in case you think it's LeBron I hate.

On the other hand, I pity the fool that takes a shot at David West. I really do. There ain't a player on the Heat who wouldn't get fucked up by West.

Didn't Tyson win DPOY? Something's not adding up.
That's gotta be a first, right?

Different people vote on the DPOY and the All-D teams.

And you guys are overreacting on the Haslem foul, not nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I thought it was really bad at first but after watching the replay it looks more and more like he wasn't going for his face.

The Pittman foul was terrible though, yet funny at the same time as a Heat fan.

For punishment on the pittman foul the nba should make him play 30 mins each game for the rest of the playoffs.

Carlos Boozer was much improved defensively this year for what it's worth.
