The Pistons roster is just a mess lol

You already gave Gordon and Charlie those ridiculous contracts, then you give Stuckey 8.3M a year and Prince 6.8M a year.

our roster really is bad. we arent bad enough to get a top three pick but bad enough to get a low lottery pick, and bad enough to get swept out of the first round. and we cant really make any trades or sign any players who are good enough to put us in a good spot. we really need to fire dumars, and trade everyone besides jonas, brandon, and greg.

they arent bad. but i either want them to be good or bad. they arent good enough to take down one of the top seeds next season.

Basically everyone but ET and Jrue. I'm telling you Detroit is gonna contend for a playoff spot next year, assuming Brandon Knight makes a good step, Greg Monroe hasn't hit his ceiling, and they don't fuck up in the draft.

brandon and greg will both be fine. i know theyll get better. greg will for sure. but outside of those two i really dont know how our lineup will look. and we have a boner for kaman. he could actually stunt greg if we sign him and he becomes our starting center and pushes greg to the four. those two dont compliment each other. i know we can compete for a playoff spot next season. our team looked decent towards the end of this season but i dont see us winning a playoff series.

jrue and iggy are their best players, lou and elton follow. greg and brandon are ours. followed by stuckey and bg. they have the better team but we arent that far off in terms of talent. our team just doesnt mesh well, imo.

I thought the Kings ultimately would do the right thing and take Rubio, but instead they take Evans. He's not a point guard. But he's a physical combo guard who knows how to get to the rim. He can't shoot much and isn't super athletic, but he's big and strong and he'll make an impact right away. This was a short-term pick. It will look good early, but I wonder how it will look in five years.
