Your argument in saying they are a shitty team is flawed though because LeBron's 2 best seasons in Cleveland their record was FAR better than the records of his first 2 seasons in Miami. Obviously he has a better chance to win a championship now, but saying they were shitty teams is stupid because he led them to the best record in the league twice.

Miami is a cool city to go to for a vacation but I'd never want to live there.

And yeah it was a cop out. Would MJ or Kobe have ever gone to a team with another superstar? No, they would make sure the team was built around them. LeBron copped out. He knew he couldn't win a championship so he latched onto Wade in Miami hoping he could get one there.

Outside of LeBron, the Cavs were terrible. Outside of LeBron now, Miami is still a decent team.

MJ or Kobe didn't have to go anywhere to play with another superstar because they already had them on their teams or it didn't take management long to find one.

MJ had Pippen, one of the most versatile players in the NBA in the 90's. The Bulls also won 50+ games in Jordan's first year away from the NBA and were 6 games over .500 when he came back the next. They had the pieces outside of Jordan to win a lot of games.

Kobe got to join a team with the most dominant player in the league on it. Then a short 4 years later, he got Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum developed into a good player, giving him the necessary pieces to get it done.

So LeBron was able to win 60+ games in his last two seasons with the Cavs, with lessor numbers than he's putting up now, with no talent around him.

That makes a lot of sense.

People don't want to believe this, but the Cavs 08-09 team was really good, and really deep. Also played great defense, they just had no one to cover Dwight Howard in the ECF, and Mike Brown's usually good defensive adjustments, were not working.

btw, I was at a Heat game before the Big 3 was created.

It wasn't even about the game there, it was about the music and entertainment. Nobody was watching (granted it was MIA vs IND, but still)


Heat fans aren't really Heat fans. In a game where they are down 10 late, the crowd cannot get them out of their groove. Thats a huge advantge to the C's. Boston's and OKC's fans at home definitely do.

If the Celtics get up early, it will be hard to come back.


If Pierce and/or Garnett can hit a consistent jumper, we will win this game. In the history of the Big 3, we are 11-14 in games where we can close out the series. However, we are 3-11 in the first attempt. That 11 losses includes the Game 6 loss on Thursday.

Stats show that the Celtics are better after losing the previous game-clincher (73% winning percentage) than in that game clincher (44% winning percentage)
