Humphries is never gonna be an enforcer, he's Kevin Love without the scoring

NY impressed me that game. I thought they were going to win. Still wouldn't be surprised if they won that series.

Kris Humphries is a real decent player. He can average 16 and 12. On THIS Nets team...

Is Nate Robinson hurt? Surprised to see Maynor and Daequan get minutes while he gets a DNP

I honestly think Cook should get more minutes for them, he's a great shooter, seems like they don't give him any shots.

The Hornets win!!!! THE HORNETS WINNNNNNNNNNNNN!!

Bottom line, we attacked their weaknesses today. They have nobody who can guard Chris Paul, nobody who can guard Carl Landry, they're undermanned on the wing, and we have a great gameplan involving Pau Gasol.

I don't know if the Hornets will win the series, but it's not going to be over quick.

Oh, and while their bigs have the size advantage, we have the athletic advantage. Gasol, Bynum, and their other bigs can't get up and down the court so they're size is not effective. If the Hornets continue to push the tempo, good things will happen.

meh
rockets were more athletic
thunder were more athletic
we played a team with deron williams and he murdered us as well

and the lakers won all those series'

you know what lamar said after the game?
"when you're arrogant, you lose"

they're fine. not worried at all
this is a mixture of the Utah and Rockets series' of 2009

None of those teams had Chris Paul, that's the difference. You guys have no answer for him and he makes the guys around him better.

I still think the Lakers will win the series, for what it's worth.

i dont want to sound like a jackass, but...

Bynum needs to lay out CP.
not hurt him, just risk a flagrant and foul him hard
or artest or someone.

Deron Williams doesn't provide the mismatches CP does, and Aaron Brooks is garbage compared to Chris Paul.

Why? Maybe Emeka should lay out Kobe?

go for it

aaron brooks may be "garbage" but he was kicking ass

ugh what the hell are we talking about
lakers didnt show up. no big deal
game 2 will probably be close again
but if it's a blowout, hornets slight chance of a major upset would be officially gone

See this is what bothers me. Giving the Hornets NO credit.

"The Lakers didn't show up." Are you kidding me? If your team doesn't show up for game 1 of the NBA playoffs, you have bigger issues to worry about than a Chris Paul led team.

The Lakers showed up, they just got outplayed.

dont take it like that
hornets played great
but the lakers were still in the game, werent they?
if pau and odom showed up, they win. bottom line

and lakers have done this not showing up thing before. i already told you, odom said they're arrogant
it's still the hornets man. they're still bored

it may look ugly and the hornets might get another game, but it's all good. good for new orleans too

i wont be worried until another team has 3 wins against the lakers
