"Who needs melo?" Apparently you do Denver. That's why you don't talk like that. It comes back to get you.

Durant with 41. Did it with ease. I was close. I had a feeling either every series would finish, or continue, and I was almost right. Oh well, i'm hardly right on things so i'm calling this a win for me.

Spurs just kissed the Grizzlies girlfriends, then punched the Grizzlies in the throat. They must be shell shocked from hell.

Do not be surprised if you see that young team have a mental collapse in game 6 Friday night.

However, I expect them to be hungry. But imagine what those SA players are feeling right now, .. motivated, pumped... no telling.

ok now my real post.

Kevin Durant. holy fucking shit.
wow.

im beyond afraid of this OKC team. they match up soooooooooo well vs the lakers.
im thinking OKC in 5

lakers only advantage is HCA
maybe artest too. he usually plays KD well, but man. that team is special

and i guess 1 concern with OKC. both this year and going forward. Russell Westbrook. I dont think he and KD will work long term

Three series could get closed out tonight. I must admit, I kind of hope LA beats us tonight because I don't want to sit through a Game 7. I know how terrible that game would be officiated.

stop it nola, we're the better team dude

if we were the 4th seed being gimpy all year and you were the 5, or we were 3 and you 6, i'd totally understand what you were saying

i always say the lakers dont try. they dont half the time
you can balk at that, but just look at every other team. all of them playing their asses off (miami was coasting)
you dont see some difference between every team and the lakers? once they play hard like in game 5, even with guys you need to show up going off (ariza and marco), lakers still win big

Never said you werent. All I said is I'd rather not have a Game 7 because I know Stern and his fuck buddies would favor the Lakers, bigtime.

On that note, they upgraded Kobe's foul on Mek to a flagrant one. Do we get to shoot the free throw now? Fuckers. It is a bullshit attempt to show that they are taking action on officiating issues. It's the proverbial bone that has been thrown the Hornets way. As if this makes it all better now.

It also took long enough for our media to call out your bitch ass coach.

http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ssf/2011/04/lakers_coach_phil_jackson_show.html

How anyone can stand behind that piece of shit, I just don't understand.

i know you're not talking to me, but for what it's worth, i hate phil

overrated and cant wait til he's gone

all he's good for is not panicking and saving time outs, which could be a detriment sometimes

but im not saying he's a bad coach and only good because of his players(all championship teams have great players)

that inbound play at the end of game 4 was pretty good. the one that got pau wide open under the basket for a quick dunk

Then my respect for you goes up a lot lol, not saying I didn't respect you before, but you get what I mean.

I gotta be honest, the ONLY reasons I don't like the Lakers is because they get favorable officiating and because of Phil. Dudes a dirtbag. I don't have a problem with Kobe like so many others do.

“I was really upset about,” Williams said Thursday morning after shoot around for Game 6. “I know it’s going to be a physical game but I thought they swung at us a few times last game. I thought Shannon (Brown) should have been ejected. If he’s not going to be ejected, he shouldn’t be able to play tonight.
While Kobe Bryant’s hard foul on Emeka Okafor was changed after the fact to a flagrant foul, Williams understands that doesn’t help the Hornets on the court.

Except, that is, when the calls aren’t being enforced equally on both sides.

“I know Kobe’s foul got upgraded to a flagrant but enough is enough,” Williams said. “We teach our guys to play the game the right way. It’s the playoffs and we need to play through it, but I also feel like there needs to be a little more legislation.”
He added, “Now, if you’re going to swing at a guy, that’s different and that’s what I’ve seen. If you look at some of the play under the basket against us, our guys are going into the cameras. They’re getting pushed into the stanchions. Kobe hits Mek in the face. To me, those plays need to get upgraded and it was.
