Well, ever since Mayo got benched he's actually been running the offense, and hasn't had to defer to Mayo. Rudy Gay going down has also given him some more room to operate.

Great defender on the college level =/= great defender on the NBA level. He's a great shot blocker but unproven in the NBA, you can't count on him to fill in like that. He's no better than Joel Anthony. And no, Mike Miller isn't Reggie Miller but take him off the Heat and after Chalmers they have NOBODY who can score the ball with any consistency.

Like I said, they were a 5 seed last year. Chicago for sure is better than them without James. Atlanta and New York are both toss-ups, they all would finish around the same record. You act like its proposterous to say they'd be a 7 seed. Anywhere between 5-7, leaning towards 7.
