That record wasn't bull. 61 wins is a result of that high octane offense with multiple scorers.

For the first time in my 26 years I can say the Spurs have no defense.

And for the first time ever I have to say it's over now. The era, the title runs, it's done. The Spurs set all kinds of records winning so often for so many years, and I guess even for them it's time to rebuild.

I have never seen the Spurs just quit before. And when Manu let Battier hit that three without even a hand up or even a slight jog towards him... well ... yeah.

TBH I'm am pretty sad. I don't take sports personal like I did when I was younger and had more passion for things, but it just kinda makes me sad I watched the first half of my childhood hero retire in DRob, but he went out on top. And now Duncan is finishing up my NBA generation.

I guess now I have to get old. Blah.

I hope NO wins again tomorrow just so you can be humbled.
still wouldnt be humbled

lakers should win this series, everyone knows it
if it was say, 2006 and the lakers up 3-1 to the suns and blowing the series, while i was being cocky about next rounds, then yeah i'd be humbled

not this year though. not if they lose to new orleans

anyways, like i was saying

after the pau trade, everyone was bitching and moaning saying it was so unfair
and the lakers backed it up, winning 2 titles

however, it wasnt as one-sided as we all thought

Marc Gasol is a stud
Kwame's expiring lead to Z-Bo (who they extended for what Pau would have probably extended for had they kept him)
2 draft picks became Greivis Vasquez and Darrell Arthur

win-win. as of today, it looks like a better trade for Memphis

Haha Spurs. I love seeing things shake up. I never thought Grizz would be up 3-1 on the Spurs.

I don't think the Blazers can come back from this one...they seem to be cold.

That's not a win-win. The Lakers won two championships with Pau while the Grizz haven't done shit and won't with this core of players.

Lol the Lakers backed up ripping off Memphis in the Pau trade?

Um, they better have. Because after pulling that stunt that everyone but LA was in a roar about, anything but a title would have been epic fail.

Fuck you don't see any other teams pulling one sided deals out of their ass then winning a 'ship cause of it.

they were cold last time too. except Roy morphjed into the illegitimate child of the fusion of Mr. BigShot, Air Jordan, and The Hick from French Lick's sperm into one batch of semen that was then injected straight into the greatest chick bball player ever (who fucking cares about her?).
