Once Francisco Garcia went down with that freak physio-ball injury, the small forward position in Sacramento became up for grabs.

There's no shortage of options for the Kings: Andres Nocioni, Omri Casspi, and maybe even Kevin Martin or Tyreke Evans.

But Paul Westphal seems to be leaning towards Desmond Mason.

"I don't really like to change (starting lineups) too much depending on opponents," Westphal told NBA FanHouse. "Doesn't mean that we might not be forced to do that in some respects. But every first quarter we've played with Desmond starting has been an excellent first quarter."

My Mavericks could either be really good this year or just plain old and slow, lol.

As for my Knicks, I hope Danilo can step up and exceed expetations. As well as Jordan Hill who should fit very well in our offensive scheme. Mike Dantoni likes what Toney Douglas can do. This year is about seeing a big improvement over last year.

As long as he's healthy, I don't see why he wouldn't look good. Last year he started great too.
