clipper jersey's used to be popular over here believe it or not.

i used to always see Q-Rich, DMiles and Lamar. sometimes corey and EB
usually they are the ones from i think 2003 when they worre old san diego throwbacks.
i still see them every once in a while.
Yeah I remember those days. Back when the Clippers were kinda of exciting, still bad, but kind of fun to watch anyway because of Q-Rich & Miles.

Man I feel bad for mavs fans. Hopefully they can pull a move for a C. Gotta feel bad for gortat.
Word. They just keep getting robbed.

i hate the restricted FA thing.

this happened with Mo Will a few years ago. he signed an offer sheet with Miami because he wanted to be there. he didnt want to be in milwaukee anymore.
all this does is force players to go and stay somewhere they dont want to

After seeing Eyenga in action, I hope he stays in the states and doesn't play overseas for a year or two. He has shown great athleticism, and he has shown to be a pretty good defender. His offensive game is still raw but he is decent, unselfish player. And the Cavs beat writer reported that if Eyenga was to go back overseas there would be a bidding war for him and there might be some buy out clause sneaked in preventing him from coming back over. Looks like we might have something in him, only time will tell.

Jon Brockman is a hoss. Even though he looks like a tree trunk, he actually moves his feet well, has the makings of a good team defender, and did a nice job on a couple of Toney Douglas-Jordan Hill pick-and-rolls. There's no offensive game to speak of, but a good find by the Kings.

Ismail Humet is a huge Knicks New York Knicks fan who attends Hofstra University and had high hopes about his club making hay in 2010's free-agent class.

That is, until he had a taped phone conversation with Chris Bosh, who broke into a laughing fit at the notion of signing with the Knicks next summer.

The entire conversation can be seen on ustream.com. Bosh's reps taped the contest giveaway. It is a recent trend of athletes promoting themselves on their own through ustream.

In the video below, Humet gets a 3 a.m. phone call from Bosh, letting him know his younger brother had won "The Most Dirtiest Sneakers'' contest. During the phone call, Bosh tells Humet he will receive a gift -- a Bosh autographed pair of sneakers in the mail.

Humet replied, "I appreciate that, but you know what's a better gift? Come to the New York Knicks next season."

Bosh and his manager, Hadi Teherany, laughed at the suggestion, laughed the rest of the call, and even laughed after he hung up.

"I've been a diehard Knicks fan following them through the tough times and everyone's talking about 2010,'' Humet told me on the phone today. "But it doesn't seem stars want to come. To hear Bosh laughing it off, I was surprised. I was expecting some kind of response. I didn't say it like it was a joke. After (Grant) Hill and (Jason) Kidd not coming, you wonder.''

Most people in the NBA believe free-agents-to-be LeBron James and Dwyane Wade will end up staying where they are. Bosh and Amare Stoudemire are the likeliest to bolt.

But if you watch Bosh's reaction, bolting to New York is strictly a laughing matter.

Bosh is more complete, but Amare will help a team more IMO.

I think Bosh is more of a team leader then Amare from what I've seen, wouldn't you think?

I dont think their games are that far apart. Amare has really improved his midrange game and niether plays great defense. Niether are fierce rebounders. But Amare will bang more downlow then Bosh will.

for that reason and like Pugz said, opponents fear him, thats why Id rather Amare.

Bosh isn't a fierce defender with blocks, but he is definitely better then Amare on defense. Bosh is more skilled, better, so I would rather have him..

I just want to know, what makes him more of a skilled player?

I give it to him that he trys harder on defense, but other then that theire almost identical, other then the fact Bosh will shy away from contact.

Blake Griffin lived up to top billing at the Las Vegas Summer League. Now he'll have to fly under the radar.

Griffin
Griffin

The Los Angeles Clippers announced on Wednesday that the rookie forward will spend the next three to four weeks resting a strain to his right shoulder. He suffered the injury in the third game of the five-game summer schedule but still went on to be named the league's most outstanding player.

The No. 1 overall pick in June's draft out of Oklahoma averaged 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds during summer league play.

He was examined on Tuesday by Clippers team physician Dr. Steven Shimoyama. The diagnosis was confirmed by specialist Dr. Lewis Yocum.

The Clippers said that Griffin will not participate in Team USA's minicamp starting Wednesday as a precaution.
LOL
Season hasn't even started yet and he's already feeling the Clippers curse. I know it's still early, but damn... it must not feel good to be a Clipper.

He will be alright....I hope the clippers curse doesnt hit him like it hit danny manning and Shaun Livingston. Both had potential to be superstars.

Apparently the coaching staff is giving JJ Hickson a chance to win the starting PF job, so Varejao can go back to being the spark off the bench and play over 20 minutes off the bench. According Mo on twitter (yea i know, lame lol) he is motivated.
