he won't be without a ride. Gibbs will start a 4th team for Logano, probably #02 or #19. They'll probably buy out a team for the owner points. My guess is that gamestop would be a sponsor.

what worries me is that this all gets announced this year, then Roush and Edwards part ways. Then it could get messy, as one of Logano or Edwards will be outside the top 35 in owner points. But I bet Edwards could get the new team into the top 35 before the season is over.
Well, as long as Joey has a good team under him, I guess I don't really care. Would suck to see him lose the #20 already, though. Gamestop could definitely be a good possibility.

there is no doubt in my mind that Logano would get the 4th team. That means a whole new crew and everything. But it'll be fine, its still Gibbs cars.

Joey just isn't winning enough for Home Depot. They have lost the championship to the their competition, Lowe's, too many times. They want to sponsor a contender. Edwards would be a great fit for them imo.

I think Joey will be really good in a few years. He better get a good crew chief & team. I know teams with 4 cars generally end up having 1-2 cars that don't perform as well as the other 1-2. I would love to see Joey gets Kyle's current crew chief in the Nationwide series, Jason Ratliff.

yea, I think so too. But I just think Home Depot wants to win now, and have a marketable driver. Joey seems like he would market better to the young fans.

The thing is though that would be a great team. Not sure who would really get "junk", its not like HMS or RFR where there is the top 2 (Gordon/Johnson; Edwards/Kenseth) then a bit of a drop off for the other 2 (Earnhardt/Martin; Ragan/Biffle). At JGR there would be 3 guys who can compete for a championship, and one guy who will only get better.

You are right, Joey would be better for the young fans, which is why I like him. I think Mark Martin is getting completely junk everything right now, because he's out next year. Generally there's a drastic drop-off after the second car.

I really don't blame Hendrik for giving Martin junk. Martin won't win him any championships, so they should be focusing all their resources into Johnson and Gordon.

Kahne was in a terrible sprint car crash. Luckily he was alrite, and got out of the car and walked away by himself. His team got shuffled around because of Saldana being hurt, so he had to/wanted to race.

Hendrick and Red Bull can't be pleased with him racing in sprint cars.

FUCK

Why couldn't it be the Brickard 402??? Getting beat on fuel milage when you clearly have the best car is bullshit.

Those cars should have pulled over for Jeff, it was obvious he'd get past them and that slight holdup may have been the difference. Only .7 seconds back.

Jeff just said it in his interview, those cars held him up.

Should have moved out the damn way.

11th place finish, I think he had a top 10 car but I'll take it. I was watching lap times alot of the race and his lap times were up there with the leaders. Just so difficult to pass on road courses and you can't really be too aggressive or it'll end in a accident.

The ending was nuts. Glad to see Ambrose win, but they should have let them race to the line. The wrecks were crazy, and Boris and Biffle was pretty funny.

Ryan Newman is also quietly having a pretty good season, 8th in points, 7 top 10's, 10 top 10's, 1 win. Pretty solid.
