Tulo hits a dinger off an inside pitch on the hands. Impressive.

Very excited about baseball this season. Got mlbtv for the first time. Marcus Stroman/Logan Morrison was interesting. I love watching Chris Archer/Stroman so I was hyped for this match up. Keirmaier is a mess!

Haven't been this excited for opening day, since.....forever.

The Mets finally have a team that I truly believe can challenge any opponent in the league.
literally the exact same feeling for Cubs fans

I might be wrong about the Yankees winning the East, but I'm not changing it now. Toronto still has a great team.

Nah, Sox come in third place. They have no one behind Price to pitch.

This could change if they get someone, but they have one great starter and four mediocre ones lined behind him.

I expect Clay Buchholz to have an amazing year. Don't sleep on him. He's not consistent but this will be one of his good years.

If it's amazing, he's got to reach 200 innings, and he hasn't done that a single season in his career. I'm not buying it. He's easily a #3 or #4 pitcher, but nothing outside of that. Plus he's made of glass.

I hope the Mets tee off Volquez. Not only do I want them to win just like last year, I want them to shell the crap out of a former steroid pitcher.

Oooo...Royals encrusted in gold tonight. Might as well party hard. Might be another 30 years before they see a WS again.

The Royals really may be the most fun team to watch in the bigs. Limit the K's, incredibly intelligent on the base paths, great defense, and lots of movement from their pitchers.

Was just about to post this as Hosmer laid down a bunt and went head-first into 1B
