Anyone else think Polanco will be the best Pirates outfielder this season?
No. It'd take Marte not taking steps forward and Cutch taking massive steps back. He'll be the third best OF, again.

The Rays released James Loney today after failing to trade him.

Matheny already doing Matheny things. Second inning, 1 out, runner on first, pitcher up, and we've got our infield playing in, instead of double play depth. Cool Mike.
Matheny was playing for the sac bunt, no?

Man, that 2-5 in the Jays lineup is so good. Any one of those guys could be an All Star any given year. And if Colabello proves last year wasn't a flash in the pan, this lineup should be unreal.

It's too bad Michael Saunders never lived up to his potential. Still time to be a late bloomer and will have a lot of opportunity to drive in runs and see some good pitches in that lineup.

The entire infield won't be in for a sac bunt. At worst, third base will be drawn in.

Haven't been this excited for opening day, since.....forever.

The Mets finally have a team that I truly believe can challenge any opponent in the league.

I hate it when Liriano does well. The guy tanked for so many years in the AL and he performs well in the NL. Won't last all season long I can assure you of that.

Cards are in trouble this year. They're aging quick and I'm not seeing a lot of their younger position players. Hope Wong breaks out this year, for their sake.
