The problem is that you can't depend on a pitcher who's had 8 innings pitched (or whatever it is) with a 0.00 ERA to continue being lights out.

I blame this game completely on John Farrell. He made some very idiotic moves, one of them being putting Koji in in the 8th inning. I knew as soon as he got in the game, he would get hit because of his so far perfect ERA. I just didn't think he'd get hit that hard.

The second dumbest move is sitting Ortiz. Why the hell are we sitting Ortiz? This is like the 3rd game he's sat on the bench when all he does is hit for us. Stupid to have him sitting on the bench, even if there are left handers. A completely incompetent move.

I think you have to use Koji, I agree. My point is, though, that he wasn't going to have a 0.00 ERA forever. Farrell should at least know that and anticipate that, so as to not overuse him. Same with Tazawa.

Farrell could manage the bullpen A LOT better.

A blessing in disguise. Hate to say it, but it's true. Send him back to AAA and keep him there. Guy throws 50 pitches an inning.

I'm watching the Reds local and Red Sox on my tablet. Red Sox game is boring as shit. Reds actually have a lead. Stephenson is tossing 3-hit, 1 run ball right now.
