I come home and watch an episode of the Red Sux. This team is in big big trouble if we don't win the close games. There's no point of coming back from a deficit in a game only to lose it once again later. All those runs are wasted runs.

I agree he sucks from time to time, but you have to evaluate what a #1 pitcher really is. Is a 2007 Verlander a #1 pitcher if a 2011 Verlander is too? People overlook the fact that Verlander had a couple sensational seasons that put him over the top, but his regular "good" seasons are close to the regular #1 pitchers.

To the point: I wouldn't write out this season after one bad start.

Cubbies just came out swinging. Took Finnegan all of 4 pitches to get 3 fly balls to CF. Duvall had a pretty rad, diving catch to rob Heyward tho.
