Mike D'Antoni has interest in becoming head coach of the Denver Nuggets.

D'Antoni hasn't coached since he was fired by the Los Angeles Lakers following the 13-14 season.

D'Antoni's first head coaching job in the NBA was with the Nuggets.

D'Antoni's fastpaced system on offense would presumably give the Nuggets a strong homecourt advantage due to the altitude of Denver.

He'd at least be a fit given their personnel. That roster was built to play up-tempo and Shaw tried to slow them down and it obviously didn't work.

He's going to end up having coached for every time at some point in his career.

I dont understand how this guy keeps getting coaching opportunities. This guy doesnt place enough emphasis on defense.

They're roster is uptempo since they kept a the two of the key Knicks players they traded Melo for. I honestly think it could work for them since he's coached Chandler and Gallinari and found success with both of them alongside a Raymond Felton and Amare... They could really do damage with 8 seconds or less. Both Gallinari and Chandler were 15+ ppg with the Knicks before the trade. Add a better PG and a talented floor runner like Faried and this team is a match in Heaven. Plus, Jusuf actually can run the floor at his size which is great.

Not a fan of him at all, but like many have said he is a solid roster for their current personnel.

Yeah no shit but with Gallinari & Chandler who found success in that system (with an average PG in Felton) with a Speedy Lawson their numbers could flourish better than when he they played in NYK...

I read your post like you were saying they needed a better PG, apologies.
