Zydrunas Ilgauskas has turned down an offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers and will instead join LeBron James in Miami.

The Heat has a need for size and experience on its frontline. The team is nearly capped out after signing James, Chris Bosh and Mike Miller, while retaining Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem.

Ilguaskas' agent said the player hopes to be part of the Cavs' organization after his retirement.

Don't see how this helps Miami at all. Unless he's not in their rotation plans at all. Because he can't guard anyone.

McGrady knows he's not going to get a huge deal at his age. But he's been eyeing South Beach and seems to be leaning toward taking a minimum deal for a chance to play with the Miami Thrice. The Bulls have some interest in McGrady too."

He's meh now, idk if he'd work in Miami, what exactly is he going to do on the court, spot up shooting? lol. But yea, he doesn't have much left in his career just needs to get on a contender. Great guy, did you ever watch his documentary thing in Darfur?

Well actually I'd love him in Miami because they would lose in round 1 :p

If he wins a ring I hope its in LA, I still never want to see Miami win, even with Z.

T-Mac is one of my favorite NBA players.

But I guess he might go to the Clippers.

Free-agent forward Jerry Stackhouse is interested in playing for the Heat.

Stackhouse played well for the Bucks last season.

"When you look at a situation with Miami now and having to try and fill their roster with minimum-type contracts," he said recently on NBA TV, "I would take one of those minimum contracts if they're available."
