The Miami Heat have targeted free-agent forward Juwan Howard, according to sources. Howard could sign a contract for the $1.4 million veteran’s minimum next week.
not shaq, wallace, brown, or haslem, but its a step into getting bigger.

Good God. This team is like, a traveling all-star team.

Mike Miller is done, Juwan Howard is all but done, and James Jones will sign for next to nothing. Raja Bell wants "in" on Miami bad & I'm thinking Ilguaskus does too.

Winner in all this: Derek Fisher. He's getting himself a bigger chunk of change b.c of all this sh1t

Well if I had the opportunity to win multiple rings with James, Wade, and Bosh I know I'd do it. Who doesn't want to sign with this team?

big z could help since he can hit the midrange and sometimes the three. but they really need a defensive center, too. i guess the rumored players ae mentioned arent too bad.

I have a feeling thing sign Big Z and bring Theo in on the bench, would be an ideal scenario IMO.

I'm gonna be sick if Z signs there.. But at this point in his career he should be ring chasing, unlike the 25 year old narcissistic self acclaimed King.

Udonis Haslem is on the verge of signing with the Heat, after a pair of sign-and-trades for Chris Bosh and LeBron James freed up the necessary cap space for Miami to sweeten their deal.
With Mike Miller and Haslem all but signed, the Heat are well on their way to filling out their roster with quality glue guys. A short list of other names being linked to the Heat right now includes Derek Fisher, Matt Barnes, Mike James, Jason Williams, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
Good thing they got Haslem back, great player to have off their bench.

Two sources tell the site that Wade has been lobbying to have his old backcourt mate back in Miami where the pair led the team to the NBA Championship in 2006.

i think jdubs will end up back in miami, would be a nice addition. also love the resigning of haslem for them. solid double double threat off the bench will help a lot.

lol at everyone saying that it would be hard for them to get quality players to fill out the roster. IF alot of the contracts get worked out this could be a pretty darn good team with some pretty good bench players.
