Eh not bad I guess. With how well Ibaka has been playing, I wonder how they're going to utilize Marc. Having another playmaker is a plus though.

I'm not positive this actually improves Toronto all that much.

I'm hopeful, but I guess we'll see. I think they sacrificed quite a bit of depth for a 34 year old center who isn't a big time scorer. He should anchor a good defense. I'm curious, just like some others are, about what they do with Ibaka. He's been playing the 5, anyway, so they should just slide him to the bench, but Siakam might present some scoring off the bench after they shipped out JV, Wright, and Miles.

I think it improves their defense, but he doesn't really move the needle in my opinion.

^That's my primary point. And I'm not sure Conley would have been an upgrade over Lowry, either. They were going after both Gasol and Conley.

Its the other way around. Marc hasn't been great defensively but he's solid and is one heck of an offensive player.

Gasol is better in almost every way to Jonas

I am 10000% sure Conley would be a huge upgrade to Lowry. Lowry has had a really bad season. He's always been inefficient but this is bad bad even for him.

Conley is a leader, much more efficient. He would have been a huge upgrade at pg.

I guess we'll find out. I hope Toronto didn't deplete their bench too much. Depth matters.

Delon didn't play a ton and has been passed up by FVV. Miles it will be interesting since he was a pretty good spark off the bench a lot.

They still got some of their key bench guys anyways. Now marc or serge will be part of that as well.

They still have a solid bench and most likely Ibaka or Siakam is going to replace what JV was doing off the bench. I liked Delon a lot but his an FA after this season I highly doubt they were going to keep him. One player that could step up now is my man Chris Boucher he has game and heart just needs the opportunity to play.

You think Siakam is a lock in the starting 5 ?

I don't think Marc and Serge would be an ideal pairing on both defense and offense.

Yeah if I think about it your right. They probably going to bring Marc off the bench to integrate him into the system at first.
