Thanks to MLB Trade Rumors since original article was in Spanish; According to Enrique Rojas of ESPN, OF Manny Ramirez, expected to be a free agent after the World Series, likes the idea of playing in Toronto under the reigns of new manager John Farrell.

According to Manny, he feels he has another year or two in him as a Designated Hitter (DH), and one of the reasons why he likes the idea of playing in Toronto with the Blue Jays is because of the great Dominican talent they had on the club back in the 80s.

In 2010, Ramirez hit .298/.409/.460 in 320 plate appearances for the Dodgers and White Sox.

I wish the Indians could dump Hafner and sign Manny back and have him retire where he started, would love it.

I'd sign him for at least a year if he doesn't <Censored> up the chemistry of the team. Make him DH and make Lind an everyday 1B so he can improve quickly.

Haha. You're too funny. And the Yankees don't have any proven roid users right? You're quite the bright one, aren't ya?

It would be really weird to see Manny in a Blue Jays uniform, but I said that for when he went to the White Sox, so thats nothing new. I think Manny can still be an effective DH and provide some proper protection for Adam Lind.

This is awesome news to me because as a Blue Jays fan, I never find that any major leaguers really WANT to play in Canada.

I can actually see this possibly helping their attendance issues. People love to see Manny play.
