The 2014 NFL draft also yielded three monster defensive players in Khalil Mack, Anthony Barr, and CJ Mosley. Mack was a consistent, steady hand in his rookie season. Barr was a phenom and spark for the Vikings defense prior to his injury. Mosley was a bit of a balance between the two.
I chose Mack for right now. His TFLs and Sacks are so valuable to a defense that it's hard to overlook. His durability won out over Barr.
If I could find out that Anthony Barr would remain healthy for most of his career, I'd choose him, but I can't, and therefore I choose Mack moving forward, as well. That kind of disruptive force is rare in the NFL, and you need to take them when you can.
