Haha however Haynesworth does have some relevance to Detroit.

2 things:

1. Apparently we are a "lock" on drafting Suh at #2, if indeed the Rams take a QB #1.
2. However Haynesworth supposedly is interested in playing for Detroit, and that we are showing interest for him too..

Either way I'd enjoy both scenarios, but I'd much rather have Suh.

If we traded for Haynesworth I HIGHLY doubt we draft Suh.

I'd rather not take the risk for Haynesworth and draft a younger Suh. But either way I guess I won't complain.

Lions brought in Lito Sheppard yesterday.
Not sure how it went, but I've been lobbying to sign him since he hit FAcy.

If we sign both him and Pacman Jones, we can not worry about a CB in the early rounds of the draft and take a RB or OL in the 2nd round.

Yeah we need to pick up lito at least. I would also like us to get pacman jones because I think I can see him succeed if he stays out of trouble and we can get him at a cheap price. Then we could get Jahvid Best second round.

Detroit Lions announce schedule for 2010 season

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions will play the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving Day in their only scheduled appearance on nationwide television.

The Lions' 2010 schedule released Tuesday by the NFL includes six games against NFC North rivals and one each against New England, Buffalo, Miami and the New York Jets of the AFC East.

Detroit opens the season Sept. 12 at Chicago, then plays Philadelphia in its home opener Sept. 19.

Detroit's bye week comes in Week 7. The Lions return to action with back-to-back home games against Washington — one of the two teams they defeated last season — and the Jets.

The Nov. 25 game marks the third Thanksgiving Day meeting between Detroit and New England since 2000.

Detroit hosts Minnesota in its regular-season finale on Jan. 2, 2011.

Realistically I could see up competing for a playoff spot next season.

Granted Mayhew stays this aggressive.

Yeah Im glad we got Mayhew he is doing great in the time he has been as the gm. We should have gotten rid of Millen years ago we might have actually had a team by now.
