He's a rook Mack, just because he sucks in fantasy land(madden) doesn't mean anything, those are pretty good numbers for a rookie who went against some of the best D's in the league

4.1 YPC isn't bad, I'll take that anyday for a rook.
They are fine at RB.

They need a good defensive minded coach...not a defensive line coach turned head coach. I actually think Rex Ryan would be a great fit for the Lions.

As for Garrett, not the answer in Dallas or Detroit.

Well AE, we just had a defensive minded coach in Marinelli. I don't really want a "minded" coach at all. I want a balanced guy that is a proven leader and is hard nosed. We need a good offensive and defensive coordinator as well. Seeing as we got rid of both.

Now whoever said we need a replacement for Smith, wrong. Smith is going to be an every down back for years in this league. But I will agree we could use a duo at RB. Because Rudi Johnson wasn't the answer. Also someone said Larry Johnson could be the answer, wrong. He obviously wanted out of Kansas City due to them losing. He isn't going to want to play here. And he most likely wouldn't even be the #1 back here because we are that high on Smith. If not he would split carries. And for a losing team. So I couldn't see it working.

We need to bring in some O-Line, I don't care if it's via draft, free agency, hell even picking a kid up off the streets. We need a O-Line. That and a QB should be our top priority for offense. On defense I don't think there isn't anything we don't need, they are horrible.

Another thing I think we need a #2 WR. I like Furrey and McDonald, but I don't like them as my #2. Calvin is obviously our only threat in the passing game right now. We need a guy that we can depend on with him. Also we need a guy who can actually kick return.

Overall, we need A LOT. This should be an interesting off-season for us.

^ Meh...Marinelli was D-Line coach prior to getting the head coaching gig in Detroit. I was never confident that somebody can make that sort of a leap...unless is in Collegiate ball.
