Defenceman Eric Brewer has agreed to waive his no-trade clause, and is on his way to Tampa Bay, in exchange for prospect Brock Beukeboom and a third round draft pick.
Brewer, 31, has eight goals and six assists this season, while manning the blueline in St. Louis.
He was originally drafted by the New York Islanders fifth overall in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, but also spent time with the Edmonton Oilers fromm 2000-2004.
Brewer leaves the Blues after six seasons in St. Louis.
