Well then, Ben Wallace > Karl Malone/Stockton?
Are you putting in play Billup and Sheed ? Also I am saying 5 Championships compared to 0. Bigger difference then 1 to 0.

My point is the amount of championships you win, shouldn't amount solely to the player you are. Plenty of NBA greats don't have rings. I don't see people arguing Bill Russell being the best of all time because he has the most rings of all time.

If LeBron wins like 2 or 3 rings (which is completely plausible), and Kobe stays with 5 (three in which occurred with LeBron still in high school, playing with one of the best centers to ever step on the court). And LeBron continues to dominate the game, and likely wins a couple more MVPs, it is completely foolish to say that Kobe is better because he had a couple more rings than LeBron.

Looking more into the 07 Cavs and 05 Lakers, it's scary at how similar they playe

KB: 40.7 MPG, 27.6 PPG, 6.0 APG
LJ: 40.9 MPG, 27.3 PPG, 6.0 APG

Ilgauskas-Gooden-James-Hughes-Snow
or
Mihm-Odom-C.Butler-Kobe-Atkins

People are always going to be comparing Kobe's championship teams to LeBrons. IMO, comparing the 07 Cavs to the 05 Lakers is far better. The Lakers starting five, which IMO is better, was on a 34-48 team. LBJ's Cavs went 50-32.

I'm taking James.

LeBron James is perhaps the most gifted athlete to ever step foot on the basketball court. His point guard and post-up abilities combined with a fairly sleek jump shot, decent three ball, and great defense might make him the best all-around player to ever touch the court. Is he the "second greatest," though? No. In the modern era, it's Kobe and there's no doubt. Otherwise...I dunno. There's no denying that you're building a young team around him if you can choose a superstar. None at all. He's more gifted than Durant or Wade or Rose. He's just...the best the league has to offer if we're talking about all around play. As far as greatness is concerned, he hasn't achieved that yet. It's hard to when you're given a crappy supporting cast for the first, what, seven years of your career? He'll get there.

What people seem to forget is that MJ didn't even win his first nba championship till he was 28..Lebron is 27. Lebron still has a shit ton of time to get championships and shit. With how well he keeps himself in shape I think he will be able to maybe get multiple championships maybe not as many as mj but maybe 3 or 4 i could see.
