NBA players have too much power to dictate where they go. Like, you signed a contract w/o a no-trade clause. You're preferred destinations list should mean jack

They should mean nothing, but the reality is that they do hold value and significance.

Kyrie should not be considered to be on a 3 year contract right now. That third year is a player opt-out, so with the likeliness of him entering free agency that year, it makes it a 2 year contract instead.

so kyrie does have a "ntc", kinda. he can say "you can play me for two years, then im leaving this team", and your team doesn't want to give up anything for him that has value. like the suns aren't going to trade away josh jackson for one season just for kyrie to then say "yeah, I don't like phoenix, I'm not re-signing"

if the cavs know he's leaving in two years, they ought to trade him

Windhorst lmao. Literally paid to bash Kyrie in this entire bullshit going on right now

Anyway u asked me the other day if Kyrie can be Kobe and i said no way, but respect him from spreading his wings and giving it a try for his own legacy

Stephon marbuary tho lmao. Windhorst making it too obvious now
