The incredible amount of disrespect you're showing Isaiah Thomas is fucking disgraceful.
 
The guy was the 3rd best offensive player in basketball. He carried the team to a fucking 1 seed and an ECF berth. Sure he's bad defensively, but lets not act like we're equally shitting on Westbrook, Harden, Kyrie, Curry, etc who are all negative defenders as well. IT is still a positive on the court, even with his defensive atrocities.
 
The Cavs will not get a better player in return for Kyrie than Isaiah Thomas. That's a goddamn, absolute fact. If they can get Crowder (becomes at worst a very good 7th man for the Cavs) to add to their rotation, they are a better team than they were last year in terms of depth.

Why would boston move a Top 5 pick in a loaded draft when we don't have to. Why include the BKN 1st if you can get Kyrie without it? Boston has the leverage in these trade negotiations, not the Cavs. I'd be honestly shocked if Koby can land Jaylen/Jayson/BKN 18/LAL 18. Anything else (like Zizic apparently) is very fair game

i wouldnt include too many picks. imo, this doesnt even make the celtics that much better. it just settles the locker room a little more since you know kyrie will be there and dont need to worry about a contract. its better for the cavs because they get a little bit of depth but then you have to worry about that incoming max for IT.

If the Cavs are set on trading kyrie, what are they getting better in return than IT/Crowder/LAC 19?
 
Suns aren't moving Booker or Jackson. You're out of your mind if you think Bledsoe and Bender is better than IT and Crowder. Melo's rejecting trades to cleveland and knicks arent trading kristaps. 
 
Boston including the nets pick is just bidding against themselves. They don't need to rush into a deal, because the cavs are just waiting to implode as their current roster

the moment the player says he isnt staying long term, his value is shot. after this season, if kyrie says "fam, imma be a laker 100% no matter what" -- unless he's on the lakers that team aught to trade him away, because might as well get value of return.
 
if lebron after this season leaves the cavs, and kyrie says hes out after the 18-19 season, the cavs have SHIT in trade value. Thats how paul george got traded for Oladipo this offseason.
