Which begs the question, who REALLY made this hire?

Everything I've heard says for the last month everyone and their mother expected it to be Rambis or Blatt with Rambis as the associate head coach.

I think it was 50/50. My speculation is Dolan told Phil "it can't be Rambis", but let Phil make the choice between all of the other candidates.

I'm fine with Hornacek. I would have preferred Vogel but Hornacek, from what I recall, will fit this team much better thab Rambis. More 3pt shooting, less inside, which will work well for Kristaps. I know he had much better guards in Phoenix so I'm not sure how well he will transition to our shitty backcourt.

I like the signing, pretty much anyone BUT Rambis I wouldve liked. I think Hornacek did a great job in PHX and the Gm really fucked him through trades. We desperately need an athletic PG who can play defense though. Jeff will have to work with what he has which isnt much.

But unlike Rambis he will actually WORK with the PGs he's got (Grant) and see if they're worth even being on the roster.
