It would probably cement Stan/Bower as executive of the year. lel

At the trade deadline last season, it came out that the Pistons could have traded Smith for basically nothing and just lose him off of the books and they declined to do so.  The local pundits were up in arms that they didn't and they are all again saying Smith is totally untradeable.  Now the Pistons are being offered actual human bodies for Smith.

Feel like this wont be the last of this, especially if the Kings do come close to getting Rondo. Hopefully.

Give me Thompson, Williams, and JET and take Smith and Bynum.
I'd be ecstatic with that.

If I'm the Kings I'd try and hold on to Jason Thompson, he'll never be anything more than a backup big, but he's a good one

Boogie, Gay, Rondo, and Smoove could work IMO

thompson is a great backup. giving up smith and him being the key piece back is very good value for our team.

nola, in this case we don't have to give up an assest because they're trying to get rondo to sign an extension before dealing for him. that's their assest. and really, they're giving up one good player and two scrubs for a player who fits well next to boogie.

I love Bill, but he still doesn't understand the idea that the trade machine doesnt work anymore since IT22 is a RFA

Bill Simmons doesn't understand anything and knows almost nothing about anything that isn't related to Boston sports.
