Also, way to fuck over the Wolves in terms of trade leverage.

Not his fault someone leaked the rumor to NBC Sports.

While I don't blame him for wanting out, he needn't have been such a little bitch about it.

Love is just like 'Melo. Can't win a championship unless he's paired with a #1 option who plays both ends of the floor.

Fuck you, Kevin Love. This team can move on with Rubio and someone with better character than you.

If we get #5-7, Love will be a Celtic. No way Minnesota passes up a Top 7 1st+Sullinger+salary guys not named Gerald Wallace for Love at this point

smh

He's the 2nd best bigman that's on the trade market. He's a young, productive kid, with potential. He's got good trade value

They're all arguably good #1 options.

I would love if LA made a push for him but with no pieces except a lotto pick, I doubt it can happen.

I don't know who could make a move for him, but I hope someone with winning potential can do it.

Being the best or second best available player on the trade market doesn't necessarily mean anything. If Raymond Felton were to be the only PG available this offseason would teams be knocking down the door for him? Highly doubtful. Jared Sullinger will be a solid player, and like I've said in the past I probably like him a little more than others, but his ceiling is low and he has his shortcomings. He isn't a centerpiece in a blockbuster trade.

Also, this whole notion that we think we know who's available on the trade market is just moronic. I could sit here all day and talk about guys who weren't thought to be available but got moved, and guys who were thought to be available but didn't get moved. No fan really knows who's available.

It's not semantics, we are not talking technicalities here. You are talking about second options that are (or were) skilled enough to be a teams first scoring option. Especially in Wade and Russell's case. Chances are if you were to make a list of the leagues best #2's, the top of that list would have guys that are good enough to be second options.

I'm talking about real second options. Guys who are the teams second best player, and that's the role they play. Not a number two who is forced into the role of a number one. Or a number one who plays second fiddle to someone else. Of course there are exceptions to the rule that second options can be stars, but that usually means that player does something else exceptionally well.
