The only reason you guys are thinking that bc he was super hyped up over the summer along with steph and he's kind of having a disappointing season even tho he's still putting up great numbers, but we just expected more bc curry got even better. He's been dealing with alot of injuries but come on man AD is only 22. Last year he was putting up numbers that some dream to have in their prime or peaks and he was only 21. Towns is promising but idk if he's gonna be better than AD

No one is forgetting anything. Towns as a rookie is quite a bit better than AD was as a rookie and pretty close (maybe even better) than AD's second year. This has nothing to do with AD and everything to do with how good Towns is
