John Tavares Out the Rest of the Season After Tearing MCL in Sochi

Early this morning, Newsday’s Arthur Staple reported that a post-game MRI on Tavares revealed a torn MCL and torn meniscus. The injury will force the 23-year-old to the sidelines for the remainder of the NHL season.

So what do you think about this? Garth snow makes a case that no one is paying for the injury, meanwhile Tavares was not playing for the Islanders.
