What are your thoughts on him?

Is he on the cusp of breaking out as an elite QB, or is he simply managing for a very good defense and running game?

How does he have a very good running game? Last year it was a big disappointment. He carried that team to the playoffs.

The Defense isn't as good as it once was, sure it has Ray and some key players. It has no secondary even with Ed Reed they give up their fair share of big plays. People don't realize how good Flacco is. He's on the cusp of Elite and a better QB than anybody not named Brees, Ben, Brady, Manning, Rivers.

It wasn't as solid as it was the year before, but he had the benefit of having Ray Rice before.

That defense is still pretty damn good my friend. They definitely don't have much left in the tank.. But it's good.

Joe Flacco is a good QB, but not great. He still struggles against good defenses, holds onto the ball too long and takes a lot of sacks. I see him twice every year, he's gotten a lot better but still has to improve on some things. He has a huge arm though. I think Cam Cameron's offensive play calling has sucked, which hasn't helped out much either. It's either a run or screen every play, they need to open it up some more and let Joe Flacco throw. I think he'll continue to get better though, and maybe, MAYBE join the 'elite' class someday but I don't think he will.

Rice is good, but the defense is average now. Flacco is a beast.

I dont think flacco is better than ryan, but thats my personal opinion (some may call me biased)
Im sure both flacco and ryan will be elite qbs in the future, along with freeman, bradford, and stafford if he stays healthy

I'd say he is a real good QB, probably not elite, but he wins games and gets the job done. Very good QB if you ask me.

I like Flacco. He gets wins, but I don't see him as elite. I'd have him just on the outside of elite. In that group. He tends to get more flack than he deserves because people tend to focus more on his mistakes rather than his success. He is a very good QB, and he gets the job done. The kind of guy you want as a QB. Yes, the defense does help a lot, but you have to have some offensive production to consistently do well.

But Flacco has better stats, better rating, with less weapons. Never had an elite WR till this year. Falcons had White/Gonzalez for Ryan
