NFL.com - Jeff George, 43, believes he's ready to take over as quarterback of the Colts, who drafted him with the No. 1 pick in the 1990 NFL Draft.
"Just talked to Jeff George, who lives in Indy and says he could pick up that Colts offense in a matter of days," tweeted Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times.
Indianapolis is 0-2 with Peyton Manning sidelined, leading many to believe their best move would be to tank the season in hopes of landing Andrew Luck in next April's NFL Draft.
