Jaguars first-round CB Jalen Ramsey has suffered a "small meniscus tear," but the "hope" is that he'll be ready by training camp.
At least that's the initial diagnosis. The injury is to Ramsey's right knee, which required microfracture surgery when he was in high school. The No. 5 overall pick is getting a second opinion early next week. It sounds like Ramsey has avoided the 2015 fate of fellow Jags first-rounder Dante Fowler (ACL), but it's apparently too soon to say for sure. If the "small meniscus tear" diagnosis holds, Ramsey should be 100 percent for training camp.
