So it has been written in stone, LyRIKs shall now leave SI. To assure that I don't return my request for the admins is to unregister my account.

To me this site just lost its touch. I remember when I first registered it was a good place to go to because it was a place to talk sports and have some good open debates. It seems to have veered from the good talk to being all about gfx and just chatting it up in what is now known as the Watercooler section. It's just not my kind of forum anymore. Chatting it up about whatever, getting a kick about pissing people off, cracking jokes on general subjects is something I already do enough of when i'm not on. Well it's not like my presence means much here on SI, I didn't come here to make friends, I stuck around just to talk sports and participate in the open debates (Not a fan of these one on one debates).

There are some cool people here like J2323, BKS(even though I got to him in the sim league today lol), LakerFan, Bid'ness, Ziggity Zaggity, JH5, and CB4. So i'll cut the long speech and just say bye to the forum.

Well, I haven't been here for very long so I don't know what SI used to be like, but it seems as if we've been focusing in a wrong direction ever since we got the ipb. Granted the CT is slow as hell so it doesn't make much sense to say that we're becoming a general chat forum, just something seems wrong.

First off, I'm really sad to see Rik go...but, in a way, I don't blame him.

In fact, I'm more dissapointed in the site itself.

I still get the idea that you guys fail to see why he left in the first place.

For a sports board, and here's a tip- we should try posting more in the allocated sports discussion threads.
Try it- then maybe stuff like this wouldn't happen.
