Is Matt Ryan the Benchmark for NFL QBs?

Basically, any QB above him on the totem pole is a franchise QB, and any QB under him can or should be replaced. Here are Ryan's stats from this previous season:

407/614, 66.3%, 4591 yds, 7.5 ypa, 21 TDs, 16 INTs, 89.0 rating

I'd rank him in the 16-18 range personally myself

I never really thought of it this way but you're right haha. He really is the dividing line with QBs

Actually I take that back. I think Tannehill is like the prototypical benchmark QB. Ryan is probably in the tier above that

Nah imo Ryan is the benchmark of QBs still, and Tannehill is simply below the benchmark
