Indians make it official: Santana signed to 5-year deal with club option for 2017. Press conference scheduled for the afternoon.

Santana's deal is worth $21M over the 5 years. That does not include the club option for 2017.

It just covers his arbitration years, and the club option is his first eligible year of free agency. Hopefully they can get something done with Masterson now.
