I think just because Blake is such a force inside, that alone makes his teammates better. Same with Dwight Howard.

he's putting up 22/13/4 (27/15/5 this month)
and he's not even close to what he can be.
his offensive game isnt that bad at all. Has a mid range jumper thats improved all season, good enough post moves, he's only getting better

he's been getting better at defense, he's a no nonsense guy. he and rose have similar personalities and work ethics

only reason i dont take rose is because there are so many great PG's that if we were building a team using a fantasy draft, you'd be ok if you didnt take rose 1st, but took rondo, or westbrook like 15th

his first month of his career, with baron not playing, with a new coach, new system for a young team, they were 1-13
since then, they're above 500

As much as I like Derrick I can't pass up KD or even freaking LeCon if I'm a GM. If I draft at 3 or 4 though it's gotta be Derrick. Blake is also top 5 to build a team around no doubt
