If you could change one rule in baseball what would it be?

Neighborhood rule.
Bring it back you're saying? Although, it was never technically a rule. More or less enforcement (or lack of) the rule that a defender has to touch the bag in order to record the out.

Well I remember when they changed the rule a few weeks ago some people were saying it protects the defender less. Puts their health at greater risk.

MLB now allows it to be a review-able play, which is oxymoron b/c they're trying to reduce player collisions on base paths at the same time.

Collision at home plate or the review...tough choice, but I'll go review. I just don't like baseball joining the crowd with that.

I'm fine with reviews and also fine with Home Plate collisions. Makes it more interesting that guys can't just run full speed in to the catcher and try to knock the ball out. A lot of players would round 3rd when they had NO chance of beating the throw just knowing that they had a 50/50 chance of knocking the ball loose. It's kind of archaic actually. This ain't rugby.

Definitely the home plate collision rule. I see where the MLB is going with it but at the same time, the sport is a lot more fun to watch when team's are scoring. With this rule, third base coaches and base runners have to be a lot more cautious about what they do and all we want to see is our team getting some runs on the board and a more competitive game.

Players need to have better awareness of their surroundings. They need to know who is running and how to avoid contact. If contact is unavoidable, the players need to be sure their bodies are in proper position to allow contact with minimal chance of injury.
This said, intentional contact is something that must be eliminated.

One rule I would like to see changed is the rule that a player can be tagged out on a "pop-up" slide. If the player simply loses contact with the base without oversliding or attempting to advance to another base, they should not be in jeopardy of being tagged out.
