Jrue Holiday and the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed upon a four-year, $41 million extension.

With minor incentives, Holiday's deal could reach $46 million, according to Sam Amick.

Holiday was the 17th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Holiday became the 76ers' starting point guard in his rookie season.

Holiday averaged 13.5 points, 4.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game last season.

14 points and 11 assists last night. If he can distribute like that on a nightly basis then he's definitely worth it. And I know he can score lol.

Nice to see his price come down, I remember him saying he wanted a max. I can't help but feel that ALL these players are being overpaid, but I guess if the market's that high you gotta go get your guy.

A little bit more than I would've signed him for but I'm cool with the deal. I think he'll put up better numbers this year.
