As many of you have noticed, the NFL has suspended Greg Hardy for 10 games even though they have no grounds to do so.

The verdict was overturned. The guilty verdict was given by a judge who has had something like 90% of her domestic dispute guilty verdicts overturned by a jury.

The crime isn't on his record. The case is closed. Whether he did it or not is up for debate and the woman who accused him has a history of bringing similar charges against other affluent men.

Welcome to the dictatorship they call the NFL.

He better not be. I want AP out for just as long as Hardy. AP's crime was arguably worse, and we KNOW he did it.

Hardy's case was dismissed because the accuser didn't show up to the appeal hearing, AFTER a settlement was reached in a civil suit.

Not exactly what you're trying to sell here.

And Peterson was convicted on a misdemeanor with no jail time, so now your bias is just showing since you hate the dude. I'm not even saying Peterson deserved that small of a charge, or is a model citizen, but you're clearly not being consistent.

cheato, in no circumstances was it ever proven that Greg Hardy is guilty of what he was accused of. Many, many affluent individuals choose to pay extorters to avoid potentially wrongful convictions. Sometimes that's the best route to go. This woman has done other similar things to other affluent men. Coincidence? I think not.

You can't punish somebody for something you don't know that they did. That's the problem, here. AP admitted his guilt. You can't just suspend a guy because you think he's guilty.

Actually, it was proven that Hardy was guilty, hence why the case was dismissed in an appellate court, and it wasn't dismissed based on evidence, either. You're fairly quick to throw blame at women in most cases. They're not all swindlers, ya know.

Peterson did not admit his guilt, he pleaded no contest (I'm not condoning his actions, I'm just stating a fact).

You aren't proven guilty when a judge who has no business holding a gavel finds you guilty of something she decided you were guilty of before the first day of the case.

I'm simply hesitant to believe that a league full of a exceptionally affluent men isn't going to draw some extortioners. FTR, I think Big Ben was guilty.

I just like how "conduct detrimental to the league" gets 10 games, but, you know, who cares if you harm another living being (human or otherwise).

Are you not reading my posts? The case wasn't dismissed because of the judges validity or ANYTHING to do with the actual evidence/case itself. You can continue to spew this narrative, but it's irrelevant.

Is he actually guilty? I don't know, but stop acting like you know based on your opinion of a judge.
