that was when I thought he was good defensively.
 
 
Around mid may, when i truly learned he's just a good offensive four, I no longer wanted him. We don't need him at all. I'd take him if we moved Sully for a player like Noel, but having Sully and Monroe on the same team is pointless imo. Neither can really play C, and why have a player like Sullinger (who would be your 3rd best player) on the bench for 20+ minutes?
 
If you can get me a good young defensive center, like Nerlens, then I'd be fine with Monroe. He just doesnt fit our team

He's a decent scorer in the key who can pass a little bit.  He has a 9 inch vertical and Pugzo could drop 18 on him.
