Will Americans tune into YouTube for Sunday football games in the next couple years? A recent report raises the possibility.

AllThingsD reports that top execs from Google and YouTube met with the National Football League on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of picking up the Sunday Ticket package, which broadcasts games not being shown in the local market.

How would this work? I assume they'd just start charging through YouTube. Not much would change.

Probably google would have their own ads or some shit, not TV ads.

More companies might pay google to place their ads on YouTube during football games rather than have them pay the big NBC, etc networks.

Would not like this. My internet lags like a bitch playing videos, especially on YouTube. I'd prefer to watch on my 52" LED TV where it won't freeze every 5 minutes.

Google always has this $30 thing that hooks up to your HDMI port in the back of your TV and picks up the video from your internet.

If that meant being able to watch without pay, as a non American I'd be stoked. But they're gonna find a way to charge me.

It's going to be about those advertisements, if they can get those advertisers to pay $$$$

I already have a cord that connects my laptop to my TV. It's nowhere near as good as TV quality, in my experience.

Yeah it probably is my internet, but I'm content with my internet right now. I don't have internet to watch Bills games. I don't wanna have to worry about that shit come gameday. I like my TV just fine.
