Atlanta Journal-Constitution - Tony Gonzalez acknowledged that Atlanta's playoff loss to Green Bay on Saturday may have been his final NFL game.

"It's always a possibility," Gonzalez said of retirement. "Year 15 is a long time."

Gonzalez is now 0-4 in the postseason during his lengthy career.

"I feel just as down just as devastated as I did last time," Gonzalez said. "It doesn't make a difference that it's towards the end of my career. It's in my mind, don't get me wrong, but they all hurt."

It sucks that a player as good as Gonzalez will never see a Superbowl ring.

He really deserves one, he's one of the classy guys in the NFL.

Always liked Tony Gonzalez, and it would be great to see him get a ring, but unless he goes somewhere else, Atlanta seems to be his best chance right now, and with him now being 0-4 career in the playoffs, it's starting to bug him. I'd at least like to see him win one playoff game in his career before it's all said and done. If the SB ring doesn't happen.

I hope he sticks around. If we get our defense together we should make a better run next year

Gonzo needs a ring, and I'd love for him to be able to get one, along with the franchise

I had a feeling this might happen, he's getting up there. He's been a great TE for years, I just don't think he really has 'it' anymore. I believe it's time for the great to hang it up. This doesn't surprise me at all.

I just hope he stays 1 more year. I honestly think if we improve our defense we can really make a run for a ring

He might, just for that reason. He wants a Super Bowl ring before he retires and he knows if he comes back another year he will have a good shot at it, the question is can he go through all the wear and tear through another season.
