http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=326764VANCOUVER -- The Vancouver Canucks will play at Rogers Arena next season.
The team has signed a new naming rights agreement with the communications giant.
The rink had been known as GM Place since it opened in 1995 but the agreement between the Canucks and General Motors of Canada has expired.
The new 10-year deal with Rogers also includes the telecommunications rights. Officials won't divulge how much the agreement is worth.
Besides hockey the building also hosts concerts.
Both the men's and women's Olympic gold medal hockey games were also played there.
GM will continued to be involved with the Canucks with in-arena promotions.
