I don't love the zombie-like render tbh. And also, if it weren't text on hat's wall, it would be further apart. Text really holds that piece back

I just think the wall on A was executed poorly. Grunge style render, with shitty soft lighting on top. The mixture of the two styles just dont go together on this wall... Neither wall is great but at least B is good for what it is minus the text

I don't really see anything that's executed well in your wall if I'm being honest. The background is awful as is the text. A cut off hand and weirdly sharp/badly cut elements. And at least I tried to add lighting to the piece.
 
Normally I wouldn't really care and wouldn't criticize something so heavily but in this particular case I really don't get it. But whatever. Different strokes for different blokes.

lol that's not the way I interpreted what he said. I took it as he didn't want to take credit for good work you did. Buzzys the one who said it sucked. My impression was Guru thought it was solid.
