Just came up with an idea that might help with activity.
 
Release the topics for the next 3 weeks and then every week release another so there are always three weeks of topics released. Not everyone has a few hours each week to make something. Some people might have a lot of time one week and no time the next. Also I know some people get momentum when they are making something and might want to knock a few out at once.
