One season in, interested to hear if anybody has any thoughts on improvements/changes for the G-League. Or if you just want to mention how awesome it is, that works too.
1. I'm open to improving the CPU rule, but I don't like your proposed fix. I think it's far too easy for somebody to rig that to make the player they want eligible.RN4L said:Biggest gripes and potential solutions
1.
Gripe: predictability of eligibility due to CPU DCs
Solution: players must possess no more than 2 higher ratings grades than 2 of the players of the same position, or a cumulative 3 players of the same position or up and down 1.
This will take the CPU out of the equation. Teams that have a good team balance will be able to move a player to a spot and develop him there if they have a squad that doesnt need him at his drafted position or of a position up or down 1.
2.
Gripe: Eligibility due to draft position.
Solution: make high lotto picks (1-5) ineligible. Mid-late lotto are eligible beyond their first season (flopped 1st/2nd TC = non rotation player: see gripe 1.) and will not be eligible for pot boosts. Rest of 1st rounders will be eligible for one season, +5 cap with pot boost eligibility. 2nd rounders and UFA multiple year eligibility +5 first year, +3 2nd year with pot boost percentage more likely but will cap at their max attribute growth number.
3.
Gripe: age and multi year eligibility restrictions
Solution: see gripe 2, remove age restriction and craft a model based on draft position. If multiple 2nd round guys are to blow up, revisit this down the line?
